I wrote this out while watching it, then tweaked it a little later in December.

A while back I finally got around to watching Zeitgeist. My first impressions were that it was made by people who just didn't like Christianity.
I already knew that christianity was based on pagan religions, and there were similarities between all. (didn't know it was that similar though!) It's still a good parable, based in symbolism, and instills more good ideas about right and wrong into people's heads than, say, teenage mutant ninja turtles.
I found it fascinating when they explained about the star in the east n the fact that the son/sun God was born on December 25th...
So... the age of Pices n the Jesus-fish is almost over. In the age of aquarius, can we stop fighting each other? Represents water to put out the fire (of war) with? No, we didn't light it but we're trying to fight it?
They had very convincing argument for the conspiracy theories for 9/11, although there are other explanations too. I don't believe the government would directly hurt their citizens like that. It's more likely that the terrorists planted bombs.
The fact still remains that war is bad if the US government was involved in 9/11, and war is bad if the US government was not involved in 9/11.
Moving on. Why do they have "war rules"? I'm going to kill the people in your country and you're going to kill the people in my country. Let's sit down beforehand and come up with some rules.
What is up with the US wanting to invade Iran anyway? (I thought it was my imagination when I saw it in the paper, something about the russians didn't want the US attacking iran on former soviet soil? It was in the newspaper opposite an article about a book called "Letters to Hitler.")
War on terror. Even the name shows it's a lost case: you can't beat terror by using terror.
Somewhere I've heard theories that the US is trying to keep the countries of the middle east fighting against each other, and is scared of a potential strong middle east union, like the European Union. Stop dividing the middle east. Don't you have better things to do with your time?
This documentary's got a lot of good insights in it, but seems to be almost trying to be controversial. I guess it's a niche it can fill. People have to think critically when reading anything.
Finally, it's just too simple... "if it harms none, do what you will?"
